Different color light can hide two of the three patterns to reveal one true pattern dependent on the color lit. Presented during the Milan Design Week this month. Couch Cushion Architecture; A Critical Analysis

Thank you, Build Blog for your critique into living room fort construction. I wish this was a desire that stuck with us as we grew older. Highlights: {Complete with Grading Scale}

A brilliant synergy between the weighted foundation and the light tensile structure, this project impressed us with its attenuation of structure and bright interior spaces. The courtyard and formal entry are also well thought-out and provide a clear means of way-finding. Grade A+

At first glance the composition appears unintentional and the construction shoddy. But further investigation reveals a clear delineation between indoor/outdoor space with a design focus on protection through the use of barrier. Planes are shifted off the orthogonal to accommodate function; as a side effect it relieves inhabitants from a harsh Euclidian geometry. Grade B

Good God gentlemen, you’re a mess! You need walls, you need a roof. Get to work man!Grade: F

"The slightly chewy consistency comes from a pine-scented tree gum called mastic. It’s widely used in Turkey and Greece to flavor puddings, some bread doughs and raki. You will find it on bazaar stalls in form of crystals, that must be pulverized prior to their use. Additional thickening factor used in chewy ice cream, is another peculiar, typically Turkish product. Salep is a ground wild orchid root that apart from flavour and thickness gives the ice cream its typical pearly white colour. "

Chocolate Cake.

Really happy with the recipe below - made a few adjustments to the the "Seriously Moist Chocolate Cake" recipe from Tricia's Kitchen.

2 cups sugar

1/2 cup oil

1/2 cup applesauce

2 eggs

1 cup milk

1 cup HOT coffee

1 oz. melted chocolate (in coffee mix)

2 tsp vanilla extract

3/4 cups cocoa powder

2 cups cake flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking powder

2 tsp baking soda

1/2 cup sour cream

-----

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees

2. Grease and flour cake pan(s)

3. Add all dry ingredients, whisk to combine

4. In mixer, combine sugar, oil, and applesauce

5. Add eggs one at a time

6. Slowly add milk, coffee/chocolate mix and vanilla extract

7. Add Sour Cream - Mix well

8. Add dry ingredients in increments with mixer on low speed

9. Batter will be thin - Pour into cake pans and transfer to oven

10. Bake until toothpick inserted comes out clean
